Individual:
Levi never left the home place on the river bank. He worked on the L & N RR and loved to tend a garden. He never married but he was always there for his nieces and nephews. Nieces, Lillie Deaton and Haney Norman, were staying with Pap & Mammy Strong and when they died they stayed on with Uncle Levi.
They became his children and Haney's children became his Grandchildren. After Uncle Levi died, Lillie and Haney inherited the old home place. The river would flood it's banks in the Spring and many times it would even get up into the house. Lenard, Haney's husband had a house built above the road and they moved in there and rented out the old house.
