    Hi Nancy,

    Your ancestor Claude (s/o Claude & Catherine Hébert) was born at Grand-Pré (in Nova Scotia) on 6 Dec 1708; he married there on 1 Dec 1747 with Judith Landry, d/o Claude & Madeleine Doucet. They had six children according to my
    notes: Joseph called "Sacco" (after where he lived in Maine before returning to St. Mary's Bay, NS)m. Anne Bastarache;
    Marie m Charles-Cajetan Saulnier; Marguerite m Louis-Yves Thibeau; Elisabeth m. Joseph Corporon; Pierre m Scholastique Gaudet; and Madeleine m Pierre Saulnier.

    Claude & Judith were exiled to Massachusetts in 1755; after the release of the Acadians, legend has it they walked back to Nova Scotia via Maine, where they settled for a time at Saco, before continuing the journey home to St.
    Mary's Bay.

    Claude Boudrot (s/o Claude & Anne-Marie Thibodeau) m Catherine Hebert d/o Jean & Marie-Anne Doucet ca 1706 in Grand-Pré This Claude was the oldest of 21 children from his father's three marriages.

    Claude Boudrot (s/o Michel & Michelle Aucoin- our ancestors) m 1st in Port-Royal ca 1682 Anne Marie Thibodeau d/o Pierre & Jeanne Theriot.

    In over twenty-five years of researching, I haven't yet (but this could change) found any Indian blood in the Boudreau lines. Hope this helps, Dennis
