It was believed in 1983 that the parents
of Vincent BRAULT were Rene BRAULT and Marie RENAULME
because of a baptism act found in St-Jean de Sauves church
where a Vincent was born in May 1629, making him a good candidate
in term of the 1671 acadia census where he is said to be 40 years old.

HOwevr that discovery was followed soon after by another one
where that Vincent BRAULT is a witness with his mother
Marie RENAULME in an close parish to his brother's Rene wedding.
That wedding took place in 1674 and we know for sure that our Vincent
was in Acadia at least before 1671, so that rules him out.
