John Eichelberger died very suddenly last evening at 7 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lewis J. Stahl, near Maugansville, of cerebral hemorrhages, in his 70th year.  Mr. Eichelberger had been about his work as usual during the day and had eaten a hearty supper and was sitting at the table when he was taken with a hemorrhage, death was almost instant.  He was born and reared in the Clearspring District.  Surviving are his children - Mrs. Lewis Stahl at whose house he died; Mrs. John Hull of Charlton; Mrs. William Shindle, Mason and Dixon; James, of Illinois; George, Jacob and Albert Eichelberger, all of Blair's Valley: brothers, Alex, Philip, Jack and Jacob.  Funeral Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Church of God in Blair's Valley.  Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church.  (Morning Herald, Hagerstown, MD, 15 Feb. 1915.)
