He was a farmer and cattleman. He moved to Pasco Co., FL with his
father when he was three years old. He built the family home nearDade City in 1906. He was of medium height, 5'10" tall and slender.He was left handed. Although considered an expert horseman, he wasthrown from
his horse and killed. The horse returned home without him and with the saddle hanging upside down underneath. His son went looking forhim and found him with a broken neck.
