Joe Sims was my great grandfather. He was born in about 1862 in marshall co., Al. He married Millie ( don't have a last name. My grandfather's name was Walter Lee Sims but was nicknamed Phelix, born in 1900, married to Pearly Mae McClain.I have found a William J. Sims that really appears to have all the same statistics as my GGrandfather but I want to know for sure if they are indeed the same person. William J. Sims was born to Thomas Sims and his first wife Matilda May or Mays. Thomas remarried after Matilda died. Second wife was Sarah A. Davis
