Mrs. Eunice Hill Dye,aged 64 years, wife of Asbury A. Dye of
Fairview Heights, died at her home on Sunday evening at 7:20.
Death was due to pneumonia which set in three days ago. She had
been in falling health for several months.
Mrs. Dye was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Prescott Hill
of Muskingham township and was born there on August 30, 1861.She
lived her entire life in Washington County and since her marriage 47
years ago had been a resident of Marietta. She united with the Harmer
Congregational Church many years ago.
Besides her husband she is survived by six sons and three daughters,
William Dye, Thomas Dye and Benjamin Dye of Dayton, Raymond Dye of
Wheeling, Wv. Clayton Dye of Reno,Percy Dye of Columbus, Mrs. Harriett
Guignet and Mrs. Lottie Bierhalter of Columbus and Mrs. Helen Frost
of Phoenix, Arz. who was with her mother during her last illness.A
sister Mrs. Hattie Marsh resides in Columbus, there are six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Hood & Dixon funeral parlors
on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30,Interment will be made in Brabham Cemetery.
