Edna was first wife. I believe he had at least two others, perhaps common law. Graduated from Wash. and Lee and wanted to be coach. Had awards in track. Grandfather wanted him to work in Joyce-Pruit Store. He never did like it. Supposedly killed a person in Mexico and Grandfather A. sent younger brother Burney to get him out for $10,000. when he arrived, Drew had already broken out so they put B. in jail until he paid the money to them. He also was in a fight in Ruidoso where someone was killed, again in self defence. Always a character. Many stories whether true or not.
In 1918 he was running a garage in Alamogordo, NM.
In 1910 US Census, NM, Chavez Co., Roswell show Drew age 24 married to Harriet M. age 21 from IA.

Married at the wife's parents house and then they went on extended honeymoon with her parents. One of the gifts at the wedding was a deed to a house in Roswell, NM.
