Text:
Capt. Daniel Little is buried in the Olde English Cemetary in Salisbury, NC. The cemetary is located in the historic downtown district. His name appears many times in the Rowan Co. deeds, jury lists, and court records. He served as sheriff and had license for a tavern, inn and ordinary. His headstone bears the inscription, "Here lys the body of Capt. Daniel Little, late of Salisbury, who died December 10, 1775, aged 44 years".
