Individual:
According to Joshua Coffin, Benjamin was the first graduate of Harvard University in 1642.

According to Samuel Eliot Morison (Class of 1908), author of THE FOUNDING OF HARVARD COLLEGE, Benjamin's name was first on the list of the First Graduating Class of HARVARD even tho he only attended HARVARD for one year. He transfered in from Magdalen Hall, Oxford in 1641. Went back to England where he died in 1684.
