Willie Armenta Lee, daughter of Mary Kezia Magness and Richard Henry Lee was born on 24 February 1881 in Logansport in De Soto Parish, Louisiana.
When just young, she moved with her parents and two younger brothers, George and Tom, to eastern Texas.
On 15th April 1897 she became the bride of Hezekiah Montgomery, called "Ky". After Ky's death, Willie married James Edward Montgomery, called "Major", the nephew of Ky.
Willie died on 10 June 1960 and was interred in the Pool Cemetery at Union Grove in Montgomery County, Texas near the town of Richards
