Virginia. His name appears on a record headed "Enlisted Soldiers of the
Virginia
Line of the Continental Establishment who have received certificates for
the
balance of their full pay agreeable to an Act of Assembly, past Nov.

1781". He received 34 pounds on Nov. 27, 1784.
