This looks like Noel in 1880. Normally I'd be wary, Adams being so comm on a surname. But, "Noel" is rare for a man. His birthplace, father's birthplace, mother's birthplace and middle initial all match, and thery are in Marengo, where a lot of Ketchams lived.
