Text: Samuel Davidson of Route 6, Dies
Samuel I. Davidson, aged 70, retired farmer and carpenter of Route 6, and resident of Boone C ounty for 11 years, died at his home Sunday. He was born April 1, 1894 in Washington Iowa , a son of John W. and Sallie Hays Davidson. He moved to Boone County from Colorado. He wa s a member of the Modern Woodman Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Davidson, two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Oliver of Raytow n, Mo., Mrs. Billy Hancock of Joplin, Mo., a brother, M.E. Davidson of Aledo, Ill; three sist ers, Mrs. R. A. Beenblossom of Milan, Ill., Mrs. H.C.Murphy of Taylor Ridge, Ill., Mrs. Ed Wi lson of Milan, Ill; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a daughter in law, Mrs. Opal Dav idson lived in Moab, Utah.
The funeral will be held Wed.nesday at 2pm by Rev. Max Wolfe and Rev. James McBee at the Chri steson Funeral Home with burial in the Grubb Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Elva Cook, Don Gray, Joe Hacker, John Skillman, Sherman Shaddox, Willia m Wisehart. 7 |
