Notes
Individual:
When Gust and Agnes married, her place of residence was St. Paul, Minnesota. She was working in a millinery shop.
Wedding Witnesses: Christ & Maren Bakke

Not sure how Gust and Agnes met, but according to Minneapolis City Directories in mid 1910s, Gust was living in Minneapolis attending Augsburg Seminary, and Agnes was a milliner in Minneapolis. Thus, they may have met in Minneapolis? In 1905, Agnes was living with Mjannes family in Polk County (near Bakke farm). Rilda (Gilbertson) Mjannes was the daughter of Susanna (Christensen) Gilbertson, sister of Ottilie (Christensen) Bradseth

Agnes lived in Hudson, and had two brothers, Irving and Emil. Their father, Michael Bradseth, was born in Norway and was a carpenter. Agnes's father died when she was 5 years old, and soon after that, Agnes went to live with her maternal great-aunt's family in North Hudson, WI. This was Ingeborg Johansen Hauge and Andrew Hauge. Agnes was living with the Hauges in 1900 (census), but Emil and Irving were not listed.

I'm not sure what happened to Agnes's mother Tillie at that time. In 1898, Tillie was living in Hudson, a boarder living "south of Buckeye 3 e of 2d." She does show up in Minneapolis as a ironer during the 1900s and 1910s. Tillie remarried around 1900 to Nels Oberg, and she was granted a divorce in 1903 in Minneapolis.
In 1905 Census, Emil Bradseth was living with Paul & Susanna Gilbertson in Polk County. Agnes was living with the Mjannes family. I don't know where Irving was living in 1905. Agnes's brother Irving was living in Minneapolis and working as a clerk during the 1910s. By 1920, Irving was living in Mendota, MN, with his wife Hilda, and three children. In 1926, Tillie remarried; her husband was Sevrin Anderson and the marriage was in Hudson, WI. Marian thinks Tillie died around 1930 in Hudson when she was hit by a train, but I can't find any record of her death.

Agnes and Gust lived on a farm near Clayton, WI in Polk County near the Bakke homestead. Agnes developed tuberculosis. (She may have contracted TB from the Hauge household when she was growing up; Agnes Hauge died in 1900 at age 21 of tuberculosis. )
During her illness, Susanna Christensen Gilbertson (Tillie's sister) took care of Agnes Bradseth Bakke. Agnes died in 1926 and is buried at Marsh Lake Cemetery. After her death, her daughter, Marian Bakke, went to live with her paternal grandparents, Martin & Anna Bakke.

More on the Hauge family: Inga Hauge was the sister of Agnes's grandmother, Maren Andrine Johnsen (Tillie's mother). I think all of Maren Andrine Johnsen and Christian Olsen's children (ten of them) came to Wisconsin from Skoger, Vestfold, Norway. (See the Christensen Family Group Sheets). Inga was married to Andrew Hauge, and they had four children, Agnes, Hans, Carl, and Inga, born in Norway. Agnes died in 1900 in Hudson, WI. Hans Joseph Hauge lived in Hudson and was an upholsterer; he married Anna Marie Swensen in 1909. Hans and Anna had two children: Agnes Marian and Carl Swensen Hauge.
