Our Family History
My mother's family is predominantly from the New England states...Massachusetts, Maine and New Hampshire, coming to America from Britain as early as 1624. My father's family (the Deputy side) is from Wales, came to Delaware and pioneered into Indiana. His mother's family were mainly from New York, Wisconsin, Vermont, and Illinois, and pioneered into Iowa. Part of this side of the family is descended from Miles Standish who came here on the Mayflower.My husband's family is also documented as coming here from Germany and Sweden, moving into Wisconsin, Minnesota and California. Any further help or corrections would be happily accepted.
