Notes 
Individual:
Cordelia and Mike Chambers served as a post office station for residents of Buffalo area. The mailman would deliver mail to them for the area. residents would then travel to the Chambers residence to pick up their mail.

CHAMBERS, CORDELIA - age 84, was born in Campbell County, Tenn., June 23, 1883, deceased this life Jan. 6, 1967. She joined New Salem United Baptist Church and was baptized on the 3rd Saturday in May, 1900 and lived a faithful Christian life almost 67 years. She had many friends and loved ones to mourn her passing. She leaves a Husband, Rev. MIKE CHAMBERS; 4 daughters and 4 sons behind. 2 sons, VESTA and MARION preceded her in death. We feel our earthly loss is Heaven's gain in glory. Farewell Mother. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.
