Notes 
Individual:

Sadie Lou Jeffers, 79, Pine Knot,died Sept. 25 at Scot County Hospital,
Oneida. Funeral services were held Sept. 27 at 1:30 p.m. at East Pine Knot
Tabernacle Church of God with Rev. Ira Sexton, Rev Leamon Perry and Rev.
Oscar Morgan officiating. Burial was in Neal Cemetery.
She was born March 25, 1902, in McCreary County, to the late Granville
and Mary Vanover Neal. She had lived here for years, was a homemaker and
member of Church of God of Pine Knot. Preceding her in death were here
parents; her husband, Starling Jeffers, and 4 children.
Survivors include her children, Thelma Jean Baird and Curtis Jeffers,
both of Pine Knot, Clovis Jeffers, Taylor, Mich., Virgil Jeffers,
Louisville, Clyde Jeffers, Rockport, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 5
great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Laura Cooper, Oneida, Tenn.
Hickman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
