Cortright Ancestry
These are the branches on which we sit, each in our designated spot...No greater treasure than family has ever existed, nor ever will. I am very interested in further knowledge of the ACTON and CORTRIGHT lineage. I know the ACTON's sailed over from England, with both MATTHEW & JOE ACTON enterng the American Wrestling Arena (Joe Acton being the lead wrestler of the two). The English connection has been a bit more difficult, as there were many ACTON'S during the 1800's. Might there be a connection to LORD ACTON? Yet to be learned.The CORTRIGHT family presided mainly in the Eastern Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey Tristate area. I would love to discover the threads that weave the New Jersey CORTRIGHT'S and New York/Pennsylvania CORTRIGHT'S together.To all of the family I havn't met yet, I extend my warmest greetings...and perhaps we'll cross paths one day.
