Hello - I am a researcher and writer for the MOCK Family Historian, so am interested in all Mack, Mock, and Mauck surnames of German/Swiss origin. My LAPP ancestors were Mennonite and AMish, originally from Chester Co. PA.
My maternal ancestors were from Ontario, CANADA. Some other surnames in my gedcom are DAVID, SCHELL (Mohawk Valley), Porteous, Burns (East Kilbride, SCOTLAND). I have MOCK ancestors from the Shenandoah Valley, beginning @ 1736.
I am 51 years old @ Nov.24, 2000, and moved from San Francisco in April 2000 with my wife, to care for her father here in Quihi (near Hondo and San Antonio), Texas. Her ancestors are Texas Germans who arrived in America @ 1850: WEIRICH, KLAPPENBACH, VOGEL, and LUNDKWIST (famous artist).
