--Myron Eells et al. "EellsFamHist" p96 says Hezekiah Bosworth (h. of Sarah Eells) was the son of David5, John4, Jonathan3, Jedidiah2, and Edward1 Bosworth, who came to Massachusetts in 1635; and that his mother was Mary Strong, dau of Stephen 4, Jedidiah 2-3, and Elder John Strong 1 of Northampton, Mass.

---BUT WHAT FOLLOWS IN THIS NOTE DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS DAVID AS PARENT OF THE HEZEKIAH, who was h. of Sarah Eells. On the web there is an UNCERTAIN note as follows: <<<<<" ** On the Swansea records this name was written Daniel, but it must have been an error of the town clerk, as there is no David given, while there was a David, but no Daniel when the division of John's estate was made. Another indication that the name was David is that John had a brother David, but not a Daniel. Hence the compiler, who is a descendant of David, has not hesitated to give the birth date recorded with the name Daniel, to David.David took part as a private in the French and Indian War, as follows:Enlisted May 10, 1756; discharged Oct. 16, 1756; 6th company 3rd Regiment under Captain Caleb "Hide" of Lebanon.
Enlisted Feb. 28, 1757; discharged Nov. 30, 1757; 7th company, Gen. Lyman's regt., under Capt. Adonijah Fitch.
Enlisted Apr. 10, 1758; discharged Nov. 1, 1758; in 12th company in 1st Regiment, Capt. Samuel Chapman commanding.
Enlisted Apr. 2, 1759 in Capt. Azel Fitch's company "but was taken ill and did not go out with the company." (A note says "David Bozworth who inlisted in Capt. Azel Fitch's company in 1759, had served in 1756, 1757 and 1758.") Capt. Fitch of the 9th company, 7th regt. was from Lebanon. David Bosworth's name was on his Muster Roll dated Lebanon, May 1, 1759. David and 18 others were from Goshen, Lebanon township.
Enlisted Mar. 28, 1760; discharged Nov. 19, 1760; 9th co. 2nd regt. Capt. Azel Fitch, Col. Nathan Whiting.
Enlisted Apr. 11, 1761; discharged Dec. 8, 1761; 2nd regt. 8th co. under Capt. Azel Fitch (Lebanon) Col. Whiting.

"Zechariah Bosworth, Serjeant -- 16 days in Service." As there is no record of any "Zechariah" in Lebanon, it is the opinion of compiler that the person referred to was Hezekiah, the writer being somewhat mixed.
