Notes 
Individual:
Benjamin and Agnes were married in Charlotte County, Virginia. They lived in Halifax County, Virginia until his death in 1837. He did not leave a will but there was an inventory and account of his estate which was quite large. There were no heirs listed in the estate account, but a deed was found in which his children were listed on the sale of the land. Seven of his nine heirs were listed, excluding James and John.
