Marriage:
Between Hartman Jr. and Sybilla, they had a total of fifteen
children. After the death of Hartman Jr., Sybilla and many of theircombined families migrated to Jackson Township, Fountian County,Indiana where daughter Mary Magdalene Hege and her husband John Shulerwere original land owners in 1831. Sybilla filed as an original landowner in 1835. Some move on to Illinois, Iowa, Oregon and WashingtonStates.
Those staying in Indiana were instrumental in starting theLivengood School and Phanuel Lutheran Church at Wallace, Indiana,where many families coming from North Carolina are buried, includingfamilies of: LIVENGOOD, CLODFELDER, FINE, BOWMAN, SHOAF, MYERS andSHULER.
In 1850, Sybilla resided with son Solomon Livengood in Alamo,Ripley Township, Montgomery County, Indiana. She went with sons Leviand Solomon in 1851, when they moved to Hardin County, Iowa. WhenLevi and Solomon got "Oregon fever", Solomon brought his mother backto Indiana to live with her daughter Mary Shuler.
