Groton Journal and Courier, Groton, New York Wednesday, May 12, 1937
Miss Karlene Mary Cornwell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Cornwell of Locke, became the bride of Otto Stamm, son of Mrs. Louie Stamm of Groton, at a ceremony at 8 o'clock Saturday evening at the M.E. parsonage, Locke. Rev. Phillip Torrence, pastor, performed the ceremony. Only immediate friends of the bride and groom were present. Attending the couple were Miss Hilda McAllister of Locke and Laurence Malley of Groton. The bride wore a grey suit with dark blue accessories and a corsage of pink and white snapdragons. Her attendant was attired in a beige suit with brown accessories and wore a corsage of snapdragons. The bride is a graduate of Moravia High School. The groom graduated from Groton High School. At present they are both employed at the L.C. Smith & Corona Typewriters plant at Groton. They will reside at 204 South Main Street, Groton.
