Obituary:

Mrs. Elizabeth Lennington, wife of George Lennington Sr., died at her late home, 255 1/2 Woodlawn Avenue. at 12:30 last night. Mrs Lennington has been in failing health for the past ten years, having suffered several strokes of paralysis. She was 81 years of age. While able to attend the Christmas gathering at the home of her son george Lennington in Downer Place this year, her strength gradually failed until the end.

She was quiet, unpretentious women who during her life had made a warm circle of friends. The Lennington Family came to Aurora from Canada, having lived here for more than 84 years. Mr. and Mrs. Lennington were a more than ordinarily devoted couple, constant attention given by the husband to his frail wife having been remarked by all who knew them well. Mrs. Lennington was a member of the Galena Boulevard methodist Church.

Deceased is survuved by her husband and four children, E>C> Lennington of Chicago, George Lennington of Aurora, and two daughters, Christine Lennington Brundage og Geneva, and Alice Lennington Shaw of St. Charles. She had but one member of her own family in this country-- a neice living in Chicago.

the fureral will be held from the late home Thursday at 2 o'clock and will be private. Frieds who wish to call at the home are invited to do so Thursday morning until the hour of 11 o'clock.
