Paul âÇúJimâÇù Hartley, 74, of Vandalia, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, at GoodSamaritan Hospital, Dayton .
He is survived by his wife, Miriam (Wackler) Hartley; three daughters andsons-in-law, Karen a nd Dan Weatherly of Vandalia, Pam and Ron Sutton ofTipp City and Becky and Tom Linger of Cincinnati; one sister, Grace Hallof Phillipsburg; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Este and Lora (Buckles)Hartley; six brothers, R ussell Hartley, Wilbur Hartley, Emmett Hartley,Floyd Hartley, Harvey Hartley and George Hartley; one sister, ClaraHeymeyer; and one half-sister, Alma Bowers.
Mr. Hartley was born Oct. 19., 1924 in Tipp City, was a U.S. Army AirCorps veteran of World W ar II, retired as a tool maker in the field ofmachine tool electronics and was employed by N.C.R. andBridgeport-Textron Corp. and was a member of the Eagles Lodge,Beavercreek.
Services will be held at noon Saturday in the Frings and Bayliff FuneralHome, Tipp City. Buri al will be in Maple Hill cem., Tipp City.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
