!This William Tomblin apparently died between 1820 and 1830 (see below). !WIFE (first name): William Tomblin appears in the 1810 and 1820 censuses of Albemarle County, Virginia (1810, p. 15A; 1820, p. 32), but this William Tomblin disappears after 1820. In 1830, Susannah Tomblin, age 60-70, first appears (page 291). No other Tomblin of the right age to be Susannah's husband is in the 1810 or 1820 censuses of Albemarle County -- except for, conceivably, a second William Tomblin (spelled "Tomberlin"), age 26-44, in the 1810 census (page 15A); but he is apparently the same William Tomblin who is listed as age 40-50 in the 1830 census (page 291). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
