BIRTH DATE: Family Bible (listed as "Eliza"). (The Bible contained the
marriage date of Charles McCloud and Lucinda Welloughby, and the
names and birth dates of their children. It was inscribed "Anna McCloud,
414 W. Main, Sterling, Kansas June 29, 1923. This is Grandpa and
Grandma McCloud Bible.") The 1850 census says that Ann Eliza was
born about 1813, and the 1860 census (Madison Co., Va.) says she was
born about 1819. (Death date is based on Ann Eliza's absence from
1870 census and her children's presence in other households in that
census year.)

GIVEN NAMES: 1850 census calls her Eliza; 1860 census (Madison
County) calls her "Ann E."

FATHER: Father's permission on marriage bond. (Also stated in Virginia
Historic Marriage Register; Madison County Marriages, 1792-1850; by
John Vogt and T. William Kethley, Jr.; page 65.)
