BIRTH, MARRIAGE: Family Bible of William Franklin Simpson and

Mildred Alice Seal Simpson.

William Franklin Simpson and Mildred Alice Seal lived in Somerset,
Orange Co., Va., from about the time of their marriage in 1932, until
about 1944. William was a store clerk in Buckner's store. They lived near
Colvin's Garage and Wilhoit's store, which were on the road to Orange just
after turning from route 231. They moved to Gordonsville and lived there
for several years, then moved to Barboursville in about 1945. (Their home in
Barboursville was still standing in 2007, when its address was 5292 Old
Barboursville Road.) They stayed in Barboursville until 1953, when they
moved to a home outside Charlottesville, Albemarle Co., Va., near Crozet.
