1785 (Virginia Heads of Family 1790; 1785 Albemarle County Tax
List, p. 80). See also the note re: "FATHER" under this William's father.
!MARRIAGE: Albemarle County Marriages, 1780-1853, by John Vogt
& T. William Kethley, Jr. (1991), vol. I, page 135 (says that William is
"from Orange County"). Birth date is based entirely on the assumption
that he married at about 25 years of age.
