Virginia; E.D. 7; page 173D (Joseph D. Wade, age 30, with wife
Emma E. Wade, age 30, son Samuel C. Wade, age 4, and two
younger children). This is apparently Joseph Wade, son of Samuel,
because the age, location, and middle initial match; this Joseph
named his first son Samuel; and there is no other Joseph Wade in
Albemarle or Nelson County in the 1880 census. Emma was
apparently Joseph's first wife and Martha his second, because
Emma died in 1887 (see note under Emma).
