Individual:
!Birth date is based entirely on the assumption that he was married at
about 20 years of age (although the usual assumption is that a man was
married at about 25 years of age, other evidence indicates that his bride
was 18 when they married).
!The record of this person's marriage to Malvina Seal gives his name as
Mann Taylor (see note under Malvina). The Certificate to Obtain a
Marriage License of Joseph TAYLOR and Alice CAVE, in Page County,
Virginia (married 2 August 1873) gives the names of the groom's
parents as Emanuel B. TAYLOR and M. Virginia SEAL (in abstract from
another researcher).
