1987/b1600000.txt). "Edna O. Baber, 91, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1987, in
a Charlottesville nursing home. She was born July 21, 1896, in Albemarle,
daughter of the late Guy Martin and Mattie Dudley Martin. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Baber. Surviving are five sons,
Elmo (Buck) Baber of Orange, Guy Baber of Alexander, Lawrence Baber of
Crozet, Mason Baber of Portland, Connecticut and Stanley Baber of
Batesville; one half-brother, Herbert Martin of Charlottesville; 16
grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren."
