of Shadrack, she may have been Shadrack's stepdaughter instead.

Albemarle County, Virginia. Also reflected in Albemarle County
Marriages, 1780-1853; by John Vogt & T. William Kethley; vol. I;
page 317. Birth date is based entirely on the assumption that she
married at about 21 years of age.
!Mary apparently lived in Augusta County, Virginia, in 1810 (see
note under her husband, Robert Tisdale).
!There is no Mary Tisdale in the 1850 mortality schedule of
Augusta County, Virginia.
