!FATHER: Marriage bond and consent note; Clerk's Office, Fluvanna
County, Virginia (marriage of Lewis Thacker and Nancy Clements,
daughter of Thomas Clements). The death register (see above) is in
error as to her parents. My theory is that the person who wrote that
information in the register received it orally; that he/she heard the "T"
for Thomas as a "D" instead of a "T"; and that the "P" stands for "Polly"
(which is Mary's name as given in Thomas and Mary's marriage bond).
