PLACE: Death certificate; Nelson County, Virginia (identifies his
parents as "J. and N. Kirby"). The death certificate says he died at age
52 (thus, that he was born about 1828), but that would mean that he
was born when his mother was 44. This same death date is stated in
the Bible record cited above.
