Family Notes on Marriage with Evan Williams:
Text:
While the Banns were published in 1841 they were not married until 1846! Was this due to some reason such as the birth of a child to another woman?? There is an entry in which an Evan Williams fathers a child, David, to Elizabeth Lewis Jan. 1854. This Evan lives at Pistell, Llanfynydd. This may not be the same Evan Williams! Must check to see when Evan and his family immigrated to the USA!!!
