Gloucestershire: John Newburgh and Margaret his wife, and John Barre and Avice his wife, sued Katrine, formerly wife of Sir Thomas Berkele, for the manor of Tokynton. Katrine claimed by a grant made to Thomas de Berkeley and herself by Nicholas Poyntz, and a jury found in her favour. 1376 is the year that Nicholas' daughters and their heirs began proceedings to recover the lands that their father had inherited, and not necessarily the year of his death.
