In 1850 Henry owned 30 slaves and 425 acres of land that was valued at

$2,500.00. His livestock included 8 horses, 6 mules, 40 head of cattle,
4 oxen, 20 sheep, and 100 hogs that were valued at $1,050.00. He raised
30 bushels of wheat, 2,000 bushels of corn, 100 bushels of oats, 250
bushels of rice, 50 bushels of Irish potatoes and 1,000 bushels of sweet
potatoes. He ginned 25 bales of cotton and produced 400 pounds of butter owned land in Township 16, Range 15 on tax assessment roll
