Text: George Kane grew up in a large, strong, close Irish family. He was an accomplished electrician until he had some accidents which left him emotionally handicapped. As a result, he was unemployed much of his adult life. Still he was a remarkably loving father and husband with a great sense of humor. He occupied his time with a variety of hobbies including woodworking, gardening and raising pigeons and rabbits. He had a pigeon coop in his back yard at 123 Lighthouse Court, Sheboygan. It had a loft with a floor which became a clubhouse for his son, Bob.
George's greatest joy was children. Not just his own, but all children. He was especially fond of his nieces and nephews.
