Mary Jane Baker married John Sims, brother of Lutitia (Lou) Jane Sims, wife of William L Baker, her brother. There were no children from this union. Mary Jane Baker Sims was a surrogate mother to many children throughout her life. She had a warm, outgoing personality and reached out to any person or animal in need.! She died in 1916, age 86 and is buried in Alderbrook Cemetery.
