Per Cynthia Simon Julia's birth date according to : 1900 &1920 census, funeral pamphlet, and grave stone, is 1866. Her death record on page 2 book 4 of Crawford County, death records also states her birth as 1866.
Howard brown and the Brown family bible page ( I believe written by Veronica Brown) states there birth date as 1868. She believes this is an error.
Her death record also lists her parents as Nis Koppers and Julia Koppers. this is
not confirm yet.

Julia S. Kappes Adams passed away at her home Friday morning, January 7, 1944. She was born at St. Lucas, Iowa, February 16, 1866, and came to Charter Oak in 1888. She was united in marriage to Gust A. Adams February 19, 1889, and to this union was born seven children. Her husband preceded her in death on December 27, 1933, and one daughter, Teresa, died in 1935.
Mrs. Adams was a kindly lady, and good neighbor, and a friend. She has resided for the past few years in Charter Oak, where with her amiable disposition acquired for her the admiration and respect of all who knew her. She will be missed by many.
Funeral services were held from St. Boniface church Monday, January 10, with interment at the local cemetery. Those left to mourn her passing are R. J. Adams, of south of Ute, Molly Goering and John Quincy Adams of Los Angeles, California, Veronica Brown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Maurice Keitges of Danbury and Leo Adams of Charter Oak. Besides her children, she is survived by nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Pall bearers were William, Leo and Frank Staley, Charles Quandt, Andrew Kraemer, and Joe Ohnimus.
