Individual:
George Alexander Dumm (Bessie was his 2nd wife; his first wife was Bessie's sister, Margaret Walsh, who died eight days after the birth of Margaret Dumm McCullough. She wrote the following on a piece of paper when George was in the hospital for 6 weeks on Friday, March l934. "Elizabeth and George bot house short time after being married and signed deed and both use what money they could get and work hard to get home for all Margaret's children. Now if anything should happen George and I must be taken from you children I ask you all to Love and respect each other help and take care of yourself, live good and be honest and always remember your own Mother in prayers. Margaret was a good mother and not very well at any time. This home here is from hard work that George and I have done both saved and strived, but many trouble but after all life is only a battle we never reach our ambishions as we had thought.
Daddy is now in hospital 6 week today, Friday, March 1934
PS. Always pray I get all my comfort in prayers."

Elizabeth's mother died when she was 6 or 7, so she was raised by an older sister. She knew the Wholey's (pronounced Wooly) because they used to visit.
