Source Text: This source is very old and was handwritten in ink by LEWIS LINEBARGER, father of ANDREW JACKSON LINEBARGER.. It was among the possessions of LEWIS LINEBARGER's daughter, VIRGINIA [LINEBARGER] GILMOUR at the time of her death in 1914, and was given to her daughter, [and my great Aunt] MAUD GILMOUR after she died. It indicates that ANDREW JACKSON LINEBARGER and LUCY ELLEN GILMOUR were married on 22 January 1852. It has a second entry for ANDREW J. LINEBARGER which indicates he and ELIZABETH McBEE McBee were married the 31 day of December 1854. This record was passed on to me by my great Aunt MAUD GILMOUR prior to the time of her death in 1968. Aunt MAUD GILMOUR obtained it from her mother, VIRGINIA LINEBARGER GILMOUR, daughter of LEWIS LINEBARGER and JANE HENDERSON.
