data base for marriages in Idaho 1842 - 1996, cites the date and place of
marriage for John Greer Parkinson and Helena [Gilmour] Vocke as 11 July
1918 and St. Anthony, Fremont County, Idaho. Courthouse records also
state that the marriage records took place in St. Anthony, Fremont County.
There are other documents, however, which indicate that the marriage took
place in Rexburg, Madison County.

[GILMOUR] PARKINSON, at her home in Hawthorne, California July 9 , 1960. She leaves one brother, JOHN GILMOUR of Ellensburg, two sisters, MAUD GILMOUR and Mrs. ONA HARE of Hawthorne, Calif, and many nephews and neices here in Ellensburg. She also leaves three step-daughters, 11 step-grandchildren and a number of neices and nephews in California. Mrs. PARKINSON died of a heart attack. She was born Nov. 18, 1870 in Albany, Oregon, and moved to Ellensburg with her parenst when she was ten years old. She lived here for many years before moving to Idaho and California. She was married in Idaho to JOHN G. PARKINSON and lived in Rexburg, Idaho for several years before going to California, where she spent the rest of her life. For many years, MAUD GILMOUR, her sister and former Kittitas county treasurer, has lived with her. The last time she visited her old home here was many years ago, before the death of her brother FRED GILMOUR. The funeral was at The Little Church Around the Corner at Inglewood at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 12. Elder Dick Vidmar of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints had charge of the services."
