    Source Text: The obituary is as follows: "Mrs. JOHN GILMOUR dies at age of 69 years--Had lived in Ellensburg for 34 years. Mrs JOHN GILMOUR died at the home of her son J. L. GILMOUR, 603 East Third Street at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of several months. Mrs. GILMOUR was born in Washington County, Oregon, April 29, 1845, and was married to JOHN THOMAS GILMOUR October 26, 1862, at Albany, Oregon, where they resided 16 years. She came to Ellensburg October 13, 1880, and made her home here since that time. She leaves six children to mourn her loss: Mrs. F. I. LOTHROP, Mrs. ONA WRIGHT, FRED, MAUD and JOHN GILMOUR, and Mrs. LENA VOCKE, who resides in Los Angeles. A brother James Linebarger, is at Hot Lake Oregon, and a sister, Mrs. DELILAH ADAMS, made her home with her. She also leaves 14 grandchildren. The funeral will be from the family residence at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and internment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery beside her husband, JOHN THOMAS GILMOUR, who died in 1905. Mrs. GILMOUR was the center of a large circle of friends and was known to be the first to give assistance to those in trouble or sickness."

    Source Text: This source is very old and was handwritten in ink by Lewis Linebarger. It was among the possessions of his daughter, VIRGINIA LINEBARGER GILMOUR at the time of her death in 1914. This hand written record indicates that VIRGINIA LINEBARGER and JOHN THOMAS GILMOUR were married on 26 October 1862. This record was passed on to me by my great Aunt MAUD GILMOUR prior to the time of her death in 1968. Aunt Maud obtained it from her mother, VIRGINIA LINEBARGER GILMOUR, daughter of LEWIS LINEBARGER and JANE HENDERSON.
