Please refer to the main record in this data base for ALEXANDER GILMOUR who, according to a recently found gravestone in the Bannister - Meeker Cemetery in Indian Creek, Monroe County, Missouri was born in Lincoln County, KY on 8 October 1790 and died in Indian Creek, Monroe County Missouri on 14 August 1861. His mother may have been LOSEY LODDEN who was married to JAMES GILMOUR in Lincoln County, Missouri on 20 February 1789. If so, Dr. JAMES GEORGE GILMOUR [born in Lincoln County, KY] and GEORGE GILMOUR [born on 10 March 1788] were his half brothers.
