Title: Notes
Text:
In a 1977 letter to her grandson, David Staub, Ida (Spoor) Hammond said that
her grandfather Coldren was buried in Crown Hill East Cemetery in Knox, Starke
County, Indiana in a Thompson family plot given to him by his cousin before he
moved to California. This is not consistent with a 1939 letter from Coldren's
daughter, Della Leota (Coldren) Spoor, to her niece, Elizabeth McGraw, in which
she said that she visited her father's grave in Logansport. typhoid fever
