Notes

Individual:
James emigrated to New Zealand in 1866, arriving in Lyttelton aboard the Blue Jacket. He was a bachelor Farmer and Margaret was a spinster at their marriage. Their witnesses were Donald Banks of Papanui Road, St Albans, and Elizabeth Banks of Papanui, a Householder.

James and Margaret left their farm Tillyfour in 1918 and moved into Ashburton.
