Ancestry World Tree Project Belongia/ Balenger His birth and Death dates come from Arsenault,Vol4 page 1614 Gaudet (p 2039) shows him on a list of inhabitants of the Riviere Saint Jean dated 1736; living with him was his wife, Marie Dugas, three sons and three daughters. Arsenault also says that he was settled at Sainte-Anne on the Riviere Saint Jean, in the period of the dispersion; that after the peace treaty (of Paris) in 1763 with his wife (his second one, Marie Dugas) and some of their younger children he was in France. and that at the cencus of 1766 in Saint Jacques on the Mississippi, He was deceased.
